Position Summary
RelationEdge is seeking a full-time Salesforce Developer to join our team in a client-facing role that combines technical responsibilities and traditional consulting elements. The Salesforce Developer will be involved in the post-sales, implementation stage of RelationEdge's services and solutions.
Responsibilities
The Salesforce Developer will deliver Salesforce solution definition, implementation, customization, integration, and managed services for clients which will include, but isn't limited to the following:
Code customized solutions and execute the solution by leveraging SFDC and other toolsets
Demonstrate an understanding of business drivers and how they influence the Salesforce design
Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce platform; stay up-to-date on new SFDC products
Map and load data into development environments
Design and develop workflows utilizing process builder, workflow, and flows (engineers do process builder and workflow)
Create and maintain system-related documentation, such as process flows, data maps, configuration worksheets, etc.
Manage task-level budget/scope to ensure client success and project profitability
Research new technologies and stay abreast of new products and services. Apply these solutions as part of the service delivery continuous improvement mission
Ensure timely delivery of committed services with a consideration of customer satisfaction
Develop complex workflows and assignment rules to automate manual processes
Validate the development and configuration work to ensure it meets the project's criteria
Required Skills & Experience
3 plus years' of Salesforce Development experience
1 plus years' of experience in a consulting environment
Salesforce development experience with Apex and VisualForce on the Force.com platform
Exposure to overall Lightning component framework
Developing and implementing new functionalities, changes, and customizations of Salesforce applications (need to change wording)
Accurately predicting time required to complete development tasks; adhering closely to development plans; anticipating changes to a product specification or schedule as they become necessary during a development cycle (need to change wording)
Ability to work autonomously
Experience creating process and business flow diagrams, use cases, storyboards, and training documents
Ability to interpret business requirements and to estimate work (good)
Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or similar SDLC methodologies is a plus
Object-oriented programming design
Knowledge of database management systems: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or other databases with SQL coding experience
Development languages, scripts, and frameworks: Java, AJAX, REST, SOAP, PHP, XML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, javascript libraries are a plus
Public cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Apps is a plus
Heroku development utilizing Ruby, Python, Java, PHP, or other language is a plus
Salesforce.com configuration, integration, and application design skills
Heroku development utilizing Ruby, Python, Java, PHP, or other languages.
Thorough understanding of frameworks, analytics, programming languages, design, databases and operating systems
Required Certifications: Administrator and Platform Developer 1
Desired Certifications: App Builder, Field Service Lightning, Community Cloud Consultant
Must be able to perform the basic functions of the job
Candidate must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
