South Central Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for selling Genesis branded products to the scrap, recycling, demolition, reconstruction and construction industries in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. All effort put forth in the pursuit of new sales, trade-ins, reworks and/or brokered equipment will be exclusive to the benefit of Genesis.
Sells Genesis' products and services to end users and dealers.
Manages existing and future dealers of Genesis' products and trains dealer salespeople to sell Genesis' products.
Compiles and inputs into CRM lists of prospective end-users gathered from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet web sites, etc.
Communicates to Genesis all new customer data and other sales and service data for existing and prospective customers for input into computer database.
Identifies opportunities for marketing and advertising strategies and assists in implementation.
Travels throughout assigned territory as required to call on existing and prospective customers to sell Genesis' products and provide customer service support.
Recommend appropriate attachment and excavator size to best meet the customer's specific application requirements.
Promotes and sells used attachment rebuild services.
Closes sales by negotiating selling price and terms.
Estimates date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of Genesis' production and delivery schedules.
Prepares reports of business transactions and weekly expense reports.
Develops and maintains relationships with existing and prospective Genesis' customers.
Investigates and resolves customer service issues.
Responsible for the assigned territory sales forecasting due the 1st of every month.
Consistently assesses marketplace for new product development opportunities.
Collects payment from customer.
Attends trade shows.
Presents self to existing and prospective customers in a professional manner.
Other duties as assigned.Experience/Education Required
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university preferred.
3. Four plus years of successful regional sales experience
4. Ability to travel up to 75%
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
8. Understanding of mechanical machinery and how it functions.
9. Valid Drivers License.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
