Job Description:
Specialising in a specific subset of the Citrix Networking product line, you will be responsible for generating revenue growth and development of select Strategic Service Provider accounts. The Sales Manager will be called into accounts as opportunities are identified and will work with account-assigned Techncial Sales Engineers to close sale to achieve or exceed revenue targets. You will act as an industry and market expert and will develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions, and assist in closing complex technical sales.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
Develop strategic plans and execute on ability to network, hunt for and manage executive relationships
Establish relationships and engage at executive levels within assigned accounts to identify and sell Citrix products and services direct to the company's named accounts. Strong customer interaction at the Executive with existing C level relationships within their assigned accounts.
Manage both an indirect customer procurement and direct customer engagement model.
Responsible for all aspects of the sale from pricing negotiations to contract development to ensuring successful order fulfillment once the order has been received and processed by Citrix.
Carry a product bookings quota to meet or exceed sales targets and demonstrate continuous progress towards achieving account strategies.
Identify, develop, execute, and maintain account strategies to drive adoption of Citrix product and services revenue within assigned enterprise accounts and their subsidiaries and affiliates. Accounts are key, strategic and may have complex requirements.
Drive prompt resolution of customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction with Citrix products and services.
Ensure accurate and timely forecasts in SalesForce.com.
Qualifications
Demonstrated track record of establishing strategic C level relationships to position and sell software and services to Service Providers.
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal marketing, technology, implementation, and product development teams.
Strong consultative selling ability ? critical questioning, listening, analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation.
Proven ability to manage long, complex sales cycles from beginning to end and ability to close large complex deals with enterprise accounts
Strong expertise in sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcoming objections, return on investment analysis, closing the sale through appropriate procurement vehicle.
Requirements
10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years selling software to Service Provider accounts and strong history of quota achievement.
Track record of managing large named accounts and selling at the C Level.
Proven track record in closing complex enterprise sales.
Experience working with external partners to develop and close business within strategic accounts.
Experience using sales automation tools such as SalesForce.com.
Proven ability to work within and across teams at director and executive levels.
Advanced knowledge of Citrix products and competition preferred..
Ability to travel 50% or more as appropriate in order to manage and close opportunities within assigned accounts and their subsidiaries and affiliates.
Fluent written and spoken English
