In this role, the incumbent is responsible for:
Financial analysts will work closely with the Finance team and cross functional partners to assist in guiding the business and individuals in decisions regarding expending money to attain profit by developing and driving excel models of Aesop's financial data.
Generally, the position will focus on trends affecting a specific geographical region, the automotive salvage industry, and products.
They must understand how economic trends, new regulations, policies, and political situations may affect investments.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions 1.
Drive Financial Analyst Function Support the financial review, analysis and consolidation of actuals and projected financials.
Own the corporate financial consolidation preparation process.
Create sensitivity analysis for pricing, and profits.
Produce work that cuts across several different finance disciplines, including, but not limited to, Finance, Supply Chain, Pricing, Sales, and Operations.
Provide timely explanations of variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets.
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
Identify trends, advise company, and recommend actions based on sound analysis.

Process Financial Data Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements including volume, net sales, segment P&L's, and historical trends.
Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts) considering company's goals and financial standing.
Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Develop a strong understanding of the ERP system and corresponding data relationships.
Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.

Data Governance Demonstrate a solid understanding of Aesop's tools and technology used to perform daily tasks.
Progressively enhance data creation process flows to standardize instructions and improve deliverable timelines Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
Own and execute Excel based models of company financial data.
Maintain clean, consistent, and understandable data.

Provide Industry Leading Financial Customer Service Develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders.

Perform Other Duties as Assigned Assist finance team with day-to-day activities.
Provide ad-hoc analysis and handle special projects as needed.
The process of managing the availability, usability, integrity and security of the data in enterprise systems, based on internal data standards and policies that also control data usage.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Requirements (position specific per Job Analysis:

) in Finance or Accounting or equivalent in relevant field from four-year college and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required with a commitment to act with an elevated level of professionalism during all transactions both internally and externally.
Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages Solid analytical skills and ability to quickly learn analytical modeling tools and techniques.
Strong understanding of databases and data structures.
Intermediate facilitation skills with the ability to drive issues to closure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Word with the aptitude to learn new systems and software.
Working knowledge of on-site database accounting software:
QuickBooks and a foundation of ERP systems (Pinnacle preferred) Must be able to work collaboratively across functions outside of Finance & Accounting.
Share expertise with others.
Must be a self-starter with the demonstrated ability to meet timelines and schedules related to essential functions described above.
Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
