About the jobIn this role, you will be the main architect for Planning and Optimization of Google's computational fleet.
Planning and Optimization is a multi-constrained problem, full of nuance, complexity and trade-offs.
You will work closely with resource planners, Shared Services teams, and users to ensure that valid concerns of these different audiences are addressed.
You will design the high-level architecture for Googles Fleet Planning and Optimization, establish the strategic roadmap, and lead execution and delivery of the resource planning and fulfillment ecosystem that underpins Google's internal/external Cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $271,000-$399,000

ResponsibilitiesSet the technical vision and strategy for delivering requirements of high-scale, reliability, performance, and development functions.
Help teams find the right short-term and long-term goals between development functions and generalization of software solutions.
Drive the roadmap and partner with Product Management on the definition and development of features.
Engage with partner teams to align on product requirements, solution architecture, and emerging requirements and issues.
