Functional Description Represent company products or services to payer organizations to include commercial and government payers. Expand coverage policy to accelerate payer acceptance of CGM as Standard of Care. Responsible for selling to market access organizations to meet corporate goals. Strategically assessing, developing, and implementing action plans to align Company with key payers organizations; ensure achievement of access and revenue objectives; provide total account management with a focus on selling at the executive level and building a business partner relationship. Collaborate with sales organization to effectively pull-through market access strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for identifying and eliminating barriers to access for patients seeking CGM therapy through advocacy and contracting with regional payor organizations. Implement payor push through programs to increase revenue and drive adoption of CGM. Achieve sales, profitability, and access goals. Set collaborative strategic and tactical plans directed at achieving these goals for both DME as well as pharmacy. Lead contracting efforts through prospecting, credentialing, and negotiation of pricing and terms. Ensure accurate and complete contract implementation internally and externally. Coordinate with Field Sales Teams for pull through activities Support local and regional payor relationships. Maintain current account files and other records with respect to current and prospective customers in accordance with Company instructions and requirements. Comply with all Company policies as well as other Company policies which may be implemented from time to time. Through personal business development activities and coordination with other sales channels within Dexcom, identify opportunities to engage organizations by assisting with their national managed care contracting. This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned Functional/Business Knowledge Having wide-ranging experience and uses professional concepts and knowledge of company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Possesses knowledge of advanced concepts, techniques, and standards. Viewed as expert in the field within the Function. Scope Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Judgement Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other colleagues. Field Sales Has a record of success in sales, viewed as an expert in the field. Distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth or depth. Normally assigned to large, complex, high visibility, strategic or tactically important accounts or cross-functional projects. Impact typically beyond territory and/or district. Experience and Education Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience. At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience. Qualifications:
Sales and Sales Management background strongly preferred Prefer at least 3 years of experience calling on managed care companies for the purpose of negotiating and obtaining contracts for reimbursement coverage. Workplace Type The Workplace Type for this role is Remote. Based on the nature of your position you will need to visit a Dexcom site no more than once per quarter and no more than 10 business days per visit (4 trips/40 days max per year). The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
