Senior Product Manager - Features - Licensing & Integrations
Role Summary Sophos is rapidly shaping the landscape of next-gen cloud security and we are looking for a senior-level Product Manager who wants to take their career to new heights with us. As part of the Sophos Central Platform Group, ideal candidates will have strong experience in both SaaS application delivery and end-to-end lifecycle management from backend services to user-facing UI flows. Standout candidates will also have demonstrated ownership in areas related to product entitlement, activation, and licensing workflows and/or experience with planning and managing API integrations with other 3rd party solutions. This includes experience in areas such as homegrown or third-party licensing solutions, entitlements management/reporting, REST API standards, and a strong understanding of microservice-backed architectures. Success in this role means you will define, build, and manage critical functionality and end-to-end workflows which are intuitive, forward-facing, and highly robust in all aspects of performance and quality. You will have both internal and external stakeholders to account for and ensure all critical requirements are captured and successfully met. All of this will be done as part of a larger, concerted balance of ongoing prioritization and competing workstreams. The work you do will ultimately be front and center in terms of rapidly accelerating Sophos' growth and strategic vision for years to come. What You Will Do You will bring your seasoned product management experience and domain expertise to drive the strategy and execution across a wide swath of functional initiatives. Specific areas of focus include product licensing, development of APIs for management & reporting, as well as manage a variety of 3rd party integrations into the Sophos Central platform. You will work with the latest in cloud technology stacks and participate in product strategy, planning sessions, product design, and requirements gathering. You will also partner with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize, manage, and execute on functional deliverables across the organization. What You Will Bring Firsthand experience with product licensing, entitlements management, 3rd party API integrations, and reporting solutions commonly used in the MSP, SMB, and Enterprise segments are highly desirable. BS in Computer Science or other technical discipline. MBA is a plus. 5-7 years' experience as a Product Manager. Be a highly adept organizer, thrive on juggling multiple priorities at once, have great communication skills (written and verbal), and a strong bias towards continuous action. Acute attention to detail and an unyielding commitment to producing quality products. Strong communication skills and a results-driven mindset. A thorough understanding of how Agile development teams work and how engineers think. Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. Experience preparing and presenting a technical roadmap that is effortlessly translated to executive and external audiences. The ability to distill a complex set of requirements into defined deliverables. The ability to weigh critical, well-informed trade-offs and have the data points to defend those decisions Strong collaboration skills to interface successfully with a broad variety of stakeholders across multiple time zones and functional domains.
